January 14, 2010 05:47 AM KLM, an airline company from The Netherlands, has provided training Extended Twin Engine Operations (ETOPS) B777-300 ER to 22 technicians from GMF AeroAsia in Denpasar Station on 12-13 January 2010. Training instructor guided by Mr. Rene Calis. Mr. I Wayan Sudiana, Denpasar Line Maintenance Manager, said that ETOPS traini ng related to technical cooperation assistance between GMF with KLM. "After ETOPs training, GMF’s technicians allowed to handle KLM aircraft," said Mr. Wayan Sudiana. GMF's involvement in technical assistant of KLM B777-300 ER actually began on December 17, 2009 when KLM had initial flight to Denpasar. "But, officially b egins in January 2010 after a GMF’s technician has trained by KLM," he said. KLM flies three times a week with the route Amsterdam-Singapore-Denpasar. Starting in January 2010, the frequency flights increased to four times a week from Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Even in March, KLM will has daily flight. |
