Korean Air and KLM Audits Denpasar Line Maintenance


Korean Air conducted a strategic audit to GMF Line Maintenance in Denpasar coincided with audit to Material Store of GMF AeroAsia to ensure that GMF comply with the service procedures run by Korean Air. Audit on 4-5 February 2010 was conducted by Mr. Kyung-Seok Park (Deputy General Manager/Auditor Internal Audit Korean Air), Mr. Seok-Jin Yoo (Korean Air Maintenance Manager), and Mr. Koh-Kyung Man (Station Manager of Korean Air).

Manager Line Maintenance Denpasar Non-GA, Mr. I Wayan Sudiana said that the audit included arrival and departure check list GMF and personnel who engage d with technical handling of Korean Air in Denpasar. "Korean Air is one of GMF's customers in Denpasar," said Mr. Sudiana. Besides that, the auditor also audited the GMF-material store to ensure the wheel storage and parts of Korean Air are accordance with the company standard.

Two days after conducting the audit, the Korean auditors were satisfied because there was no single finding. "They said this time is zero finding audit," he said. Based on the result of this audit, the auditors did not provide improvement or recommendation. While in the same time Denpasar Line Maintenanc e also audited by KLM. The Audit was conducted by Mr. Johan van Mil and Mr. Heru Pratomo on 28 January 2010. The Audit included personnel training, ETOP, document, and office facility. "This is the first audit of the KLM for Denpasar Line Maintenance, "said Mr. Sudiana.

According to Mr. Sudiana, KLM wants to ensure the service delivery of GMF on its operational station accordance with KLM regulation, and also to ensure that the placement of its tools comply with EASA standards. "From the result of the audit there was no finding or recommendation, "he said.
