1. Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Job Description 

  • Take your career to new heights as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) at PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMF). As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you will be responsible for performing and certifying aircraft maintenance activities, including inspections, testing, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and system rectifications in accordance with approved maintenance data, aviation regulations, manufacturer instructions, and company procedures. You will ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable quality and airworthiness standards.

  • In this role, you will provide technical guidance and supervision to maintenance personnel, review and certify maintenance documentation, and collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Operations teams to resolve technical issues and support aircraft reliability. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and certify inspection, adjustment, troubleshooting, rectification, and modification of aircraft systems. 

  • Supervise and guide technicians, ensuring effective resource planning and timely completion of maintenance tasks.

  • Review and certify maintenance documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company procedures

  • Conduct defect analysis, create rectification orders, and ensure corrective actions are performed and documented.

  • Troubleshoot aircraft systems, carry out operational/functional tests, and ensure maintenance areas are FOD-free.

Requirements 

  • Have minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or MRO industries

  • Possess minimum one valid Aircraft Maintenance License (AMEL) and relevant Aircraft Type Rating (AME License rating ATR 42/72; B737; B777; B747; A320; A330; B787; A350).

  • Familiar and able to interpret and apply Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM).

  • Good understanding of applicable aviation regulations and airworthiness requirements, such as CASR, DGCA regulations, and relevant international aviation standards.Adherence to company policies and regulations.

2. Aircraft Quality Inspector

Job Description

As an Aircraft Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all aircraft maintenance activities are performed in accordance with applicable aviation regulations, customer requirements, manufacturer instructions, and GMF quality standards. You will serve as an independent quality representative responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and verifying maintenance activities throughout the maintenance process to ensure aircraft safety, reliability, and continued airworthiness.

You will oversee all aspects of maintenance activities, including pre-maintenance, in-process, and post-maintenance inspections. You will perform detailed inspections of aircraft components, materials, certificates, and supporting documentation, identify and control non-conforming materials, verify shelf-life and life-limited part requirements, and ensure proper recording and system transactions. The role also involves handling customer-supplied materials, dangerous goods/hazardous materials, and Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive (ESDS) materials in accordance with applicable procedures and safety requirements.
