Jakarta, November 13 2018 - PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk. (GMFI) attended the prestigious MRO conference week in Asia Pacific held at the Singapore Expo Convention and Exhibition Center, Singapore November 6 - 8 2018. During the event, the GMF agreed to a cooperation agreement with the renowned low-cost airline (LCC), Indonesia Air Asia. The agreement between GMF and Indonesia Air Asia is for airframe aircraft maintenance as well as maintenance services & component supply for this World's Best Low-Cost Airlines 2018 world by Skytrax. Signed by Director of Business & Base Operation GMF, Tazar Marta Kurniawan and Director of Engineering for Indonesia Air Asia, Heru Susilo, the agreement includes pooling component for Indonesia Air Asia by GMF. Tazar said that GMF planned to improve the portion of component maintenance in addition to airframe and aircraft engine maintenance. "We provide integrated services for customers including maintenance services and the provision of aircraft component. We are striving to realize GMF as the 'Total Solutions Provider' MRO, "Tazar said. He also added that by providing integrated services, MRO market absorption in the Asia Pacific region would be greater and certainly provide convenience for GMF’s customers.
