Singapore, September 19th, 2025 - PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMF), a subsidiary of Garuda Indonesia specializing in aircraft maintenance, has once again demonstrated its commitment to strengthening its position as an integrated aircraft maintenance service provider on the global stage by participating in the MRO Asia-Pacific 2025 event, which took place from Tuesday to Thursday (16–18/09) at Singapore Expo. This event provides an opportunity for GMF to strengthen strategic partnerships in order to enhance services, explore new business opportunities, and formalize joint maintenance projects with airline customers in the Asia-Pacific region.

Strategic Collaboration with Honeywell

At this event, GMF signed a strategic agreement with Honeywell, in the form of a flat-rate repair program for 331-350 APU Piece Parts Repair and Line-Replaceable Units (LRUs) on an exclusive basis. This initiative will strengthen GMF's capabilities in the APU and component maintenance business, while improving efficiency, accelerating turnaround time, and delivering greater added value to airline customers in the Asia Pacific region.

"This alliance with Honeywell reflects GMF's commitment to providing world-class MRO services with faster turnaround times, cost efficiency, and increased fleet reliability for airline customers in the Asia Pacific. By combining Honeywell's cutting-edge solutions with GMF's technical expertise and global reach, we are strengthening our position as an integrated and trusted MRO provider in the region," said GMF CEO, Andi Fahrurrozi.

“Honeywell’s proven APU and engine solutions are trusted by airlines worldwide, and together with GMF’s expertise, we are helping customers achieve higher performance and greater value from their fleets,” said Eric Ai, Vice President, Asia Pacific, Honeywell Aerospace.

In addition to Honeywell, GMF also signed a memorandum of understanding with Aero Cabin Solutions for the development of capabilities in the field of cabin maintenance. This collaboration is expected to strengthen GMF's integrated services, particularly in the aspect of aircraft cabin interior maintenance.

Furthermore, GMF and PT Bandarudara Internasional Jawa Barat (Perseroda) or BIJB also signed a Commemoration Agreement on the development and management of Kertajati Aerospace Park through an Operation Cooperation (KSO) scheme. This area will include MRO facilities, aviation manufacturing industries, warehouses, training facilities, and other aviation business centers. GMF will also become the anchor tenant, specifically for MRO facilities for Government & Defense, while also serving as the driving force behind the development of the area.

In addition to signing the cooperation agreement, GMF also held a commemoration ceremony for a number of joint projects with several airline customers in the Asia Pacific region, including:
