Strengthen Operational Foundations with Sustainable Growth

In line with the ongoing business transformation, GMF is taking on a strategic role in implementing the Citilink and Garuda Indonesia aircraft reactivation project. GMF has successfully completed maintenance on two Citilink aircraft, one Citilink Auxiliary Power Unit (APU), one Citilink landing gear, one Garuda Indonesia landing gear, and two Garuda Indonesia engines out of a total of 16 Garuda Indonesia projects and 37 Citilink projects. This reactivation project was carried out not only at GMF's main facility in Cengkareng, but also at various locations outside CGK, reflecting GMF's flexibility and capability in responding to customer needs. This success is an important milestone for GMF as a strategic partner in continuing to contribute to the improvement of air transportation needs, both domestically and internationally.

In addition, GMF and PT Bandarudara Internasional Jawa Barat (BIJB) are collaborating on plans to develop the Kertajati Aerospace Park. The Kertajati Aerospace Park area is designed as an integrated aviation industry centre, including MRO facilities, aviation manufacturing industries, warehouses, training facilities, and other aviation business centres. GMF will also be the anchor tenant, particularly for MRO facilities for Government & Defence, as well as being the driving force behind the development of the area.

GMF and BIJB signed a Commemoration of Strategic Cooperation on September 16th. This signing is one of the steps in a sustainable strategic partnership that began on April 21st. Previously, GMF also held a meeting with the Secretariat and West Java Provincial Office at GMF to visit the facilities and request the support of the West Java Provincial Government for the development of the Kertajati Aerospace Park. The meeting was an important step in strengthening the synergy between the two parties. This synergy is also supported by the West Java Provincial Government, further strengthened by the visit of GMF's Board of Commissioners to BIJB to directly review the planned location for the development of the Kertajati Aerospace Park.

“GMF does not only focus on growth, but on sustainable growth. Through strategic projects such as Kertajati Aerospace Park and the reactivation of the national airline fleet, we want to ensure that every step GMF takes provides aircraft maintenance solutions while strengthening the Indonesian aviation industry,” concluded Andi
