GMF Develops Falcon 8X Maintenance Capabilities through Offset Program

Tangerang, October 13th, 2026 — PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMF) received a Falcon 8X aircraft owned by the Indonesian Air Force at GMF Hangar 4 on (10/06). Registered as A-0801, the aircraft is the first Falcon 8X to receive maintenance services at GMF and is part of a fleet of six Falcon 8X aircraft scheduled to receive maintenance services.

Aircraft A-0801 will be maintained under the FalconCare program through 2029. This program supports GMF’s efforts to develop its Falcon 8X maintenance capabilities, with the long-term objective of enabling GMF to perform the required maintenance independently.

The development of Falcon 8X maintenance capabilities is part of GMF’s commitment to strengthening Indonesia’s self-reliance in the defense industry. The program also reflects the synergy between GMF and the Indonesian Air Force in advancing domestic industrial capabilities to support the sustained maintenance and operational readiness of defense assets.
