Dubai, February 13rd, 2025 - PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMF) explores the expansion of partnership opportunities in the aircraft maintenance industry, especially in the Middle East region, by participating in the MRO Middle East 2025 event, which took place on Monday-Tuesday (10-11/02) at the Dubai World Trade Center. GMF's participation in the most extensive aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) industry exhibition in the Middle East marks the company's aggressive steps in expanding its business reach and increasing its competitiveness in the international area.
On the first day, GMF signed five strategic partnerships. The first agreement was with Air Atlanta Icelandic, related to aircraft maintenance for 2025 and 2026, followed by similar partnerships with Aerotranscargo, CA FLY PRO SRL (GSS), and One Air Limited. GMF also established a partnership with OMS Aero Group Havacilik A.S for aircraft maintenance and engine services in 2025. GMF's business expansion initiatives continued on day two with the signing of a partnership agreement with Chisholm Enterprises (Texel Air) for aircraft maintenance for the 2025-2026 period. This success confirms GMF's position as a strategic partner in the global MRO industry, especially in capturing market opportunities in the Middle East region.
Beyond securing business partnerships, GMF also utilized this opportunity to discuss and explore potential collaborations with potential customers and industry partners such as GSS, Standard Aero, International Energy Resources, and One Air. GMF also conducted intensive discussions with several well-known airlines, such as Flydubai, Saudia, KLM Royal Dutch, Oman Air, Flynas, and Salam Air, aiming to expand and strengthen GMF's service portfolio in the international market.
