Strengthening Support for National Air Sovereignty, GMF Renews ADARS Certification

Tangerang, February 13th, 2026 — As a result of consistency in maintaining the quality of care provided, PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMF) has officially received the renewal of its Certificate of Approval (CoA) as an Approved Defence Aircraft Repair Station (ADARS) from the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia during the official visitation of the Head of the Airworthiness Center of the Ministry of Defense on Friday (13/02) at Hangar 4, GMF. The certificate was signed and handed over directly by Marsma TNI Catur Martowo Aji, M.Eng., as the Head of the Airworthiness Center of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia to the President Director (CEO) of PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk, Andi Fahrurrozi. This certificate renewal was also attended directly by the Head of the Ministry of Defense Airworthiness Center accompanied by the Head of the Airworthiness Center Colonel Tek Basuki Rakhmat Pardomoan Sianturi, M.B.A., as well as Lieutenant Colonel Tek Sugiri, S.T., and Lieutenant Colonel Tek Edi Wahyudin, A.Ma. from the ranks of the Ministry of Defense Airworthiness Center. Through this renewal ADARS certification, GMF, through its SBU Defense Industry, has demonstrated its consistency in maintaining maintenance capabilities for its C-130 B/H/HS, B737 Series, C-212 Series, A330 Series, and Bell 412 Series fleets.

 

Furthermore, GMF SBU Defense Industry has also successfully added a new capability: T-56 Engine Assembly and Disassembly. Going forward, GMF is expected to continue expanding its T-56 Engine capacity to the overhaul stage. These efforts will be carried out consistently while prioritizing safety and quality, in line with the direction of the Ministry Of Defense Secretary General Regulation No.14 of 2022.

 

The renewal of ADARS as an official certificate of recognition or license issued by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, not only acknowledges that GMF continues to be committed to maintaining the quality of its maintenance, but also proves that every defense equipment maintenance procedure carried out by the GMF Defense Industry SBU has implemented high-level security in protecting state assets and fulfilling military airworthiness criteria in supporting national air sovereignty in a sustainable manner.

 

GMF President Director, Andi Fahrurrozi, accompanied by SBU Defense Industry Group Head Rajesh Ferdinand Kusuma and Quality Assurance Division Head Budi Krisna, viewed the renewal of the ADARS certificate as a crucial step in the company's operations. "This Renewal Certificate of Approval is not just about maintaining the certification that was previously held, but also serves as validation of GMF's systems, procedures, and competencies in maintaining the quality of military care by complying with regulations according to the procedures contained in Secretary General Regulation No. 14 of 2022," said Andi.

 

Through this certification renewal, GMF is optimistic that it can continue to support national defense and become a strategic partner of the Indonesian Defense Industry through its capabilities in carrying out the maintenance and upkeep of Indonesian Defense Equipment Systems. Furthermore, this achievement not only increases trust in the military sector alone, but also further strengthens GMF's position as an overall MRO. With its capabilities in carrying out highly complex military projects, it signifies GMF's readiness to bring high precision standards to every aircraft maintenance, both military and commercial.
